Fans of “KPop Demon Hunters” can celebrate. Just before the film’s first anniversary, Lego is introducing an 825-piece set inspired by Derpy and Sussie Bird.
The set will be available for pre-order worldwide on LEGO.com and will hit store shelves starting August 1.
In Netflix’s animated movie, Derpy is a supernatural tiger from the underworld known for his clumsy charm—knocking over flowerpots and being unable to set them upright again. His persona is inspired by the babo horangi, a recurring motif in Korean minhwa, a traditional folk painting style that thrived during the Joseon era. This new set allows builders to construct the mischievous supernatural messenger and his vigilant bird companion.

Last year, Mattel and Hasbro were named global co-master toy licensees for “KPop Demon Hunters.” Themed merchandise like Uno, Monopoly, and dolls related to the movie have been released, with additional items on the way.
This announcement coincides with the one-year anniversary of “KPop Demon Hunters.” On June 20, a Livestream Celebration will take place on Netflix’s TikTok page, encouraging fans to raise their “Light sticks up.”
The film debuted on Netflix on June 20, 2025, and emerged as one of the streaming service’s most significant original film successes. Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, the story follows KPop girl group Huntr/X, who lead secret lives as demon hunters.
Following its June release on Netflix, viewership for “KPop Demon Hunters” steadily climbed. According to year-end Nielsen data, the Netflix title was the most-streamed movie of 2025, amassing an impressive 20.5 billion viewing minutes in the U.S. alone.
Awards also followed. Earlier this year, EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami—the singing voices of Huntr/X—won a Grammy when “Golden” took home best song written for visual media.
A few weeks later, “Golden” secured best original song at the Oscars, while the film also won in the best animated feature category.
